Our Mission Diary

July 12, 2006

Today, Shamin and Betty held a press conference that invited several different media to hear the mission of the Children's AIDS Health Program.

The conference was held in Cape Town and Shamin and Betty recieved a better turnout than what was expected. Their mission objectives were published in newspapers and heard by many people that were pleased to learn about the goals, values and future expectations of this non-profit organization.

Everyone was pleased to hear that the Children's AIDS Health Program intends to do more than raise awareness about the HIV/AIDS crisis. In coming to South Africa, they are also encouraging equal opportunity between orphaned children through the arts, sports, and other educational activities. They are distributing bottles of vitamins to AIDS orphanages and assisting as many chidlren and youth in becoming today's leaders. Every objective is being carried out as they are things that the Children's AIDS Health Program feels are very important qualities to bring to the communities in South Africa.
